GENERAL FEATURES:
The PM1000X5 5-channel amp runs your dash speakers off the front channels, a pair of stern-mount speakers off the rear channels and your marine subwoofer(s) off the fifth channel. It produces lots of efficient power, with Class AB technology handling the front and rear channels, plus Class BD for the sub channel. It's the perfect mix of performance and accuracy. In addition it's built for the demands of boating and off-roading.
It's built tough to withstand off-road and water challenges. Conformal-coated circuitry and stainless steel hardware withstand moisture and dirt. Rockford Fosgate also uses the innovative Maximum Efficiency Heat Sink Application (MEHSA3) construction process, which has up to five times better heat transfer than traditional mounting techniques. Hence, this amp will perform without overheating, even when installed into a tight space. Further, it features tri-stage protection that covers thermal, over-current and short circuits.
Rockford Fosgate's CLEAN level setting technology, eliminates guesswork while setting your gain levels. Easy-to-see LED indicators identify clipping so you can get maximum performance while eliminating distortion.
